NOAH'S ARK JUNIOR INFORMATION
Snacks
Snack time is a great learning experience for all the children, especially in patience and manners.
There will be a pre-assigned list of snack helpers handed out the first day of school
(birthdays will be taken into consideration when scheduling)
Drinks and napkins are provided by the school
If you need to trade a snack day, please let us know ahead of time.
On snack day, your child has the opportunity to help serve the snack, which makes him or her feel
very important and special.
Please speak to us about any food allergies your child has
Toiletry Requirements
Please take your child to the restroom before class begins.
If your child needs to use the restroom while at school, he or she needs to be able to take care of all
his or her own toiletry needs. It is ok if you child is still in diapers or pull-ups, but if 'business' is done
that needs immediate attention, you will be called.
Enrollment
Early Enrollment is encouraged. Space is limited to the first 20 children to enroll. A minimum of 12
children is needed to have a class. Please submit the Parent Agreement form  to the church office.

If you decide, after submitting enrollment information, that your child will not be attending Noah's
Ark Preschool, pleas contact us so that spot may be filled by another child.
A confirmation postcard will be mailed mid-August to verify enrollment.
Tuition Obligations
The school year is divided into two sessions with the Fall session having 14 classes
and the Spring session having 16 classes.
Seven payments of $30 will be due the first Tuesday of the following months:
September, October, November, January, February, March and April
Please make checks payable to "Noah's Ark Jr."
Newsletter
A monthly newsletter and calendar will be handed out to keep you aware of school happenings,
snack helpers, birthdays and any other pertinent information.
Learning ought to be fun!!
Noah's Ark Preschool
wants children to grow up to be lifelong
learners and we believe that making learning
fun will help instill this belief in young minds!
School Times
Wednesdays 9:30 am - 11:30 am
The first day of school is typically the Wednesday after Labor Day
School ends the week of Mother's Day in May
When the public school does not have classes, we will not have class.
Illness Precautions
If your child appears ill in the morning or is running a fever, we would appreciate
your cooperation by keeping him or her home to prevent the spread of infection.
All will benefit from this added precaution.
Outdoor Play
Because of the value of outdoor play and fresh air, we will be going outside unless it is raining,
snowing or extremely cold. Please have your child wear sufficient outer clothing and comfortable
shoes to school. Please label caps, hats, gloves, mittens, coats, etc. so stray clothing can be
returned to its owner. Also, our playground has sand!
Discipline
Any necessary discipline will be constructive and educational in nature and appropriate to your
child's age and circumstances. No child will ever be isolated, subjected to any form of physical
punishment, excessively restrained or subjected to harsh words or humiliation. If necessary, a
timeout period will be used as a form of discipline.
Health Assessments
Since Noah's Ark Junior is a licensed facility, Health Assessment forms must be filled out and signed
by a family doctor or the County Health Department. If your child has attended Noah's Ark Junior in
previous years, we already have their Health Assessment on file and do not need a new one. If your
child attends a licensed daycare, make a copy of their Health Assessment for our files,
updating any necessary immunizations.
School Supplies
A large school book bag is all that is needed. All other supplies will be provided by Noah's Ark Junior.
Please make sure the bag is large enough to carry BIG crafts safely home!
